As Donald Trump prepares to lay off potentially thousands of government workers, the economy is already reeling from an unemployment crisis that is getting worse by the month. The jobs numbers for September from ADP have revealed that the country LOST nearly 40,000 jobs last month, the first time we’ve seen NEGATIVE growth since Donald Trump’s first term in office. This is a trend that cannot be ignored, and no matter what he tries to say, Trump can’t blame this on Democrats.

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson could not be happier that the federal government went into shutdown mode this week, and he actually bragged to Fox News that this means that Democrats have handed Donald Trump “the keys to the kingdom.” Trump is now going to start slashing as many federal jobs as possible, even as the federal government scrambles to rehire the people that DOGE let go. This administration, and the entire Republican Party, are officially agents of chaos who just want to watch the country fall apart.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is calling for Donald Trump to be removed from office using the 25th Amendment after his comments this week about using “inner cities” in places like Chicago as military training grounds to prepare for war. This comment, as Pritzker pointed out, is a direct assault on the rule of law in America that Trump has already been found by a federal court to be in violation of, and his continues lawlessness is a direct threat to the survival of our country.
