House Democrats on Wednesday subpoenaed Energy Secretary Rick Perry as part of the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. House Adam Schiff, Elijah Cummings and Eliot Engel sent a letter to Perry, demanding key documents by Oct. 18th.

Attorney General William Barr reportedly met with media mogul Rupert Murdoch on Wednesday night, The New York Times reports. The Trump official and the Fox News owner reportedly met at Murdoch’s home in New York. Staffers for Barr and Murdoch declined to comment on the meeting.

For the first time in history, U.S. billionaires paid a lower tax rate than the working class last year.

Around 5,100 truck drivers lost their jobs in August as the trucking 'bloodbath' rages on.
