This week on Ring of Fire!

During an absolutely incoherent and rambling talk with reporters on Monday, Donald Trump finally said what many of us have been expecting for a long time. Trump said that there are “people” telling him that they would actually like to have a dictator in charge of the country, which is a complete fabrication. Trump isn’t being told that people want him to be a dictator – he is projecting his own desires onto the public and then using that as an excuse to do it.

Following the FBI raid of John Bolton’s home last Friday, Donald Trump decided to continue his corrupt pursuit of his political enemies by threatening to investigate former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Much like Bolton, Christie absolutely deserves to face criminal investigations, but not ones that are motivated by spite and anger, which is exactly what Trump is doing. Trump was angry about an interview that Christie gave on ABC News on Sunday morning, and that’s what sparked this potentially new investigation.

Donald Trump sparked new concerns about possible dementia this week when he was seen in a video being completely unable to walk in a straight line. The video came from his golf outing over the weekend, and it was very similar to the one of him walking the red carpet to meet Vladimir Putin, where Trump veered from one side of the carpet to the other in a zig-zag pattern. These can be symptoms of spatial disorientation, which is common in dementia patients.

All that, and much more, on this week’s Ring of Fire Podcast!
