This week on Ring of Fire!
Attorney General Pam Bondi was grilled by Senators about a myriad of issues, particularly the recent revelation that border czar Tom Homan was busted in an undercover FBI sting last summer. Bondi refused to answer a question from Senator Sheldon Whitehouse about whether or not Homan kept the $50,000 that he accepted from the undercover agents last summer. Instead of giving a yes or no question about whether he kept the money, she instead attacked Whitehouse for allegedly being obsessed with the scandal.
Donald Trump’s decision to give a $20 billion bailout to the country of Argentina has caused a massive uproar with both Democrats AND Republicans. The plan is an absolutely disgusting move as the US economy – especially the farming industry – is struggling to even stay alive, and workers are being laid off left and right. This is why the plan is creating such a massive backlash against Trump. As usual, Trump has ulterior motives for why he’s doing this.
Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump-appointed judge, had to hold an emergency, late-night hearing this week after ruling at the end of last week that Donald Trump cannot federalize Oregon’s national guard unit to invade the city of Portland. The emergency hearing was about the administration’s plans to send other troops into the area, and Judge Immergut absolutely laid into the administration for intentionally skewing what her order actually said in order to justify their actions.
All that, and much more, on this week’s Ring of Fire Podcast!
