This week on Ring of Fire!

An adviser for Kamala Harris coined a new attack against Republicans in a recent campaign email, and it is one that is now driving Republicans insane. The attack is simple: Republicans are weird, sick freaks. But the simplicity of it is what is driving conservatives up the wall, to the point where Vivek Ramaswamy got blasted on social media for whining about the "juvenile" name-calling from the Left.

Things keep getting worse for Republicans as they continue to rip each other apart. Recently, Republican Senator Rick Scott tore into Mitch McConnell for being a "dictator" in the Senate within his own Republican caucus. Scott wants McConnell's job so bad that he can taste it, but the last time he tried to do it he went down in flames and ended up losing his position as head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

While there are plenty of Republicans in the Senate and House who love Donald Trump’s pick of J.D. Vance, there is a growing chorus of others who are hoping Trump makes a switch before it is too late. Trump has about a week left before he can’t make any changes to the ticket (due to state rules about declared and nominated candidates), but it isn’t likely that he’ll make a switch – it would be an admission of failure, and Trump will never do that.

Donald Trump pulled an all-nighter on Truth Social this week, staying up and posting about how much he hates the conservative cable news network. The convicted felon posted a series of memes about how bad Fox has allegedly gotten, and how Republicans will have to win this year’s election without them. This shows not only Trump’s further descent into madness, but it also proves that Republicans view Fox as a political arm of their campaigns.

All that, and much more, on this week’s Ring of Fire Podcast!
