On today’s program, Nomiki Konst speaks with Andrew Fishman about his recent article in The Intercept “Brazil’s Indigenous Groups Mount Unprecedented Protest Against Destruction of the Amazon.” Andrew is the former Managing Editor of The Intercept Brasil. His reporting focused on security, technology, human rights, Brazil, and documents leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. Previously, as a freelance journalist and multimedia producer, his work appeared on NPR, Al Jazeera English, Bloomberg TV, and other outlets.
