I think back to a year ago, when I couldn't be more excited that 2020- the worst year in our collective lives-- was finally ending. We al figured that 2021 had to be better. And then we grew more and more disgusted as it became apparent that 2020 never actually ended. It just continued for another year. Or as one comedian put it on one of the year end comedy shows I watched the other day, "2021 is just another 2020 variant." Bingo!

Well, 2021 is almost over and 2022, at this point, resembles Omicron to me. Ugh.
