There is a reason I speak with historians fairly regularly on this program, as history tends to repeat itself. We must learn from those lessons. Today, after a look at the latest news, I'll talk with Daniel James Brown, author of "Facing the Mountain: A True Story of Japanese American Heroes in WWII". Not only didn't we learn about Japanese Americans who fought with the US in WWII, I never learned in school about the Japanese internment camps, paving the way for the horrific treatment of Asian Americans in the age of Covid and Trump. In overtime, I speak with Rick Allen, drummer for Def Leppard and an accomplished artist who has three shows next week here in South Florida.
