Conservationists on Wednesday called for immediate action to address a human-caused insect "apocalypse" detailed in a new report. The report claims that the abundance of insects has fallen by 50% or more since 1970 because of heavy pesticide use around the world.

An aide to Michael Bloomberg tells CBS News that the former New York City Mayor will not appear on the primary ballot in New Hampshire. The New Hampshire filing deadline is Friday.
