Nicole Sandler has worked in radio her entire adult life. After a successful career in music radio in NY and Los Angeles (WPLJ, KLOS, KSCA and others), she returned to talk radio to host mornings on then-progressive talk WINZ/Miami. After a flip to sports, she moved to Air America Radio for a nightly show. When AAR went off the air on Jan 21, 2010, Nicole Sandler moved online where she continues to question authority daily at nicolesandler.com.

Every Tuesday, Nicole Sandler and @GottaLaff get together to shoot the shit about what's in the news. Today, Trump plans for his Totally Authoritarian Fourth of July as Twitter is awash with questions about what's happening in DC as Pence's plane turns around from NH, Putin reportedly in emergency meeting with Defense Minister and EU Security Council allegedly in an emergency meeting. This could all be nothing, or it could be something. Hopefully we'll get resolution before today's show ends!

Like most people my age, I grew up with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks. Some artists are just legendary in stature, and those three are rock and roll royalty in my book. So when I heard Ray Davies was in town for a show, had written a new book, and a new Kinks album was coming out, I figured I'd try to get him in the studio for an interview. Though he said no to a live performance, he did join me on the air for one of the most memorable morning of my career.

Then, Heather "Digby" Parton returns to the show to weigh in on the first of the 2020 Democratic debates...
