Dr. Manuel Pastor is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology and American Studies & Ethnicity. He is the Director of USC’s Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE), as well as the Director of USC’s Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration (CSII). “Pastor’s research has generally focused on issues of the economic, environmental and social conditions facing low-income urban communities – and the social movements seeking to change those realities.”

Chris Rabb has represented the 200th District (Philadelphia County) in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2017. He is also a board member of Friends of the Wissahickon and Race Forward and has also been on the faculty of the Institute for Strategic Leadership at Drexel University's Bennett S. LeBow College of Business. He has been a fellow at Demos, the Poynter Institute, and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. He also previously served on the boards of the Bread and Roses Community Fund, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, and The Baltimore Afro-American newspaper (which his great-great grandfather founded in 1892)
